Answers
- Lausen-Grunau is 30% water by area, but Grosszschocher has the largest total water surface at 2.37 km².
- Paunsdorf has the highest share of divorced adults in Leipzig at 14%.
- Thekla has the highest share of widowed residents at 12.6%.
- Lindenau is the youngest district, with an average age of just 34.
- Hartmannsdorf-Knautnaundorf has the largest male surplus: only 87 women for every 100 men.
- Volkmarsdorf residents are the least likely to vote: average turnout across all elections since 1994 is just 47.2%.
- In Volkmarsdorf, only about one in seven residents owns a car.
- In the 2017 federal election, the AfD took many votes from the NPD, but in Althen-Kleinposna 1.86% of voters still chose the NPD.
- With 29 galleries, Leipzig-Mitte just edges out the Alt-West borough (25).
